Gabourey Sidibe’s babies continue to be precious.
But the Empire actress’ new update on Maya and Cooper, her 4-month-old twins she shares with husband Brandon Frankel, also proved that they already have an unbreakable bond.
“They can’t touch their sensory books,” Gabourey admitted in an Aug. 21 Instagram Story. “Because they’re too busy holding hands.”
In the video, set the Brandy’s song “Best Friend,” Maya and Cooper sit closely together with a board book on their laps and sweetly grasp each other’s hand as they each use their other arm to support the book.
Cooper, who dons a gray shirt with Mickey Mouse socks, seemingly points to something in the book, as Maya, wearing a yellow onesie with matching yellow and blue socks, becomes intrigued with her ability to lift her half of the book with her leg.
And Gabourey, 41, has shared plenty of sweet moments of her little ones since debuting them to the world in June. Earlier this month, she showed off a different story time for the babies, where they intently looked at her as she laid out a copy of The People Could Fly by Virginia Hamilton in front of them, captioning it, “Story Time.”
Meanwhile, Brandon has shared his own adorable moments, including a picture of the babies in matching blue and pink bear onesies—complete with little ears—earlier this week.
“How adorable are they?” Brandon effused in the caption of the Aug. 16 post. “I’d be lying if I didn’t say matching outfits for the family makes me extremely happy. I mean, look at Cooper and Maya in their fuzzy little bear suits.”
Fans and friends of the Precious star also can’t get enough of her family updates, and have gushed over the twins every chance they get.
“They look smarter than me,” Good Luck Charlie’s Raven Goodwin wrote below Gabby’s Aug. 1 post. “Sweet babies.”
And Brandon is ever the doting dad, as he replies to dozens of comments from fans about the couple’s kids. The Hollywood agent even teased more sweet moments to come from the family.
After one fan expressed excitement over the twins’ upcoming Halloween costumes on one of his posts, Brandon replied, “Can. Not. Wait.”
